Systematic reviews for benefits
Public benefit explanations require a verified systematic review, with or without meta-analysis. The review must be appraised for quality and relevance. A paper being indexed does not establish a benefit.

Public benefit explanations require a verified systematic review, with or without meta-analysis. The review must be appraised for quality and relevance. A paper being indexed does not establish a benefit.
Official guidance and safety references can support precautions. Safety information is identified separately from evidence of benefit. Missing information never means an ingredient is safe for you.
Form, amount, population and outcome matter. Evidence for one ingredient does not automatically establish that a finished supplement works. Every public explanation has separate clinical and publication review.
We check the source identity, study type, population, formulation, outcomes, limitations and review date. We consider conflicting and null findings as well as benefits and harms. Internal research drafts are not public advice.
Each explanation records its reviewer, version and review date. It is removed from public display if its source changes, its approval is withdrawn or its review expires. Publication also requires a documented basis for the public wording.
Original references are available within each published explanation. We do not send your consultation answers to research services. This library does not claim to contain every study.
